I wanted to take a moment to let you know what a wonderful job your team did during I/ITSEC 2009. The ability to now connect the convention center network to resources located at other surrounding hotel properties opens up solutions that have never been available to us. As the first client to preview and experience the benefits of this technology it give me great pleasure to say that Smart City, in partnership with the Millennium Technology, worked great together and made things easy.
The EventPath™ service was, most certainly, an excellent addition to the I/ITSEC 2009 program. The support and dedication between the EventPath™ team and the Millennium Technology Group was flawless. Having seamless connectivity with NTSA sponsor branded WiFi connections between the Orange County Convention Center, the Rosen Center, and the Rosen Plaza enhanced the experience for each of our attendees and guests. The single wireless SSID that was distributed between the convention center and surrounding hotel properties, as well as, the 24/7 wireless internet access was appreciated and a convenience to all.
In addition, having the ability to connect our many digital signage monitors within the convention center and the neighboring Rosen hotels with a single DVD player for us to distribute and display our digital media was a huge timesaver. Changing one DVD each day at the convention center saved us the duplication of DVD’s and the “footwork” to deliver and setup additional media outside of the center
Our team looks forward to another great year in Orlando in 2010 and we expect to repeat, as well as, work to enhance the technology we utilize to support the many intricacies of our even. It is truly exciting to see how Orlando is working to deliver services that address the needs of today’s attendee, as well as, give organizations like I/ITSEC the opportunity to offer new and exciting marketing opportunities and services to our many sponsors and exhibitors.
